Pendalations: An Introduction

First of all, welcome to our blog! We here at Pendalations are very excited to finally be creating an online presence after a year of perfecting our candle recipes, wrapping stones, and visiting local craft fairs.  As a way of introducing ourselves, we'd like to give you a more in-depth look at our current and future offerings as well as the people making this business venture happen:

THE GOODS

Votive candles made of soy wax in a variety of colors and subtle, natural scents.

Recycled wax, unscented tealights in a variety of colors.

Wire-wrapped pendants for both men and women.

In addition, we are always happy to custom-wrap any stone you request as well as stones you might already have that you would like to turn into a wearable accessory.

Future offerings will include hand-made soaps as well as gift baskets and seasonal items.

WHO WE ARE
The Artisan: Margaret Hawkins

Margaret puts her heart and soul into the products she creates.  She hand-selects the stones she uses for her pendants for both beauty and symbolism and wraps them to withstand everyday wear.  Her candles are crafted to be environmentally friendly and long-lasting. Margaret is often found browsing the stones at local shops and the gem and mineral show and will occasionally be spotted discussing her technique while selling her wares at a local craft fair.

The Manager: Gregory James

Gregory is in charge of all the business-y stuff.  You may see him at local craft fairs hawking our wares or you might find him creating business plans, managing our accounts and inventory, and processing online orders.  If you email us to order anything you see online, you will probably be talking to Gregory, who is always happy to handle your purchases with care.

Tech & Marketing: Christina James

Christina is our resident tech and marketing guru.  You will normally find her sitting in front of a computer, writing blog posts about our latest creations, managing the website, designing our graphics, and doing social media marketing. Occasionally, you might catch a glimpse of her helping to run a booth at a local craft fair or helping Margaret pick out stones for pendants.
